Privacy Policy — Reality Check

Reality Check ("the App") is a daily news game by ai.doo. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Summary of data in plain language

Gameplay data stays on your device (streaks, history, stats).
We receive anonymous analytics events and crash reports from Firebase.
We send your vote choice to our API, without personal data.
Notifications are optional and can be enabled or disabled by you.
No names, emails, precise location, or accounts are required.

Information We Collect

The App collects the following types of information:

App usage data and device information via Firebase Analytics.
Crash diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics.
Vote submissions and round fetch requests sent to our backend API.
Local-only gameplay data stored on your device (streaks, history, stats).
Notification permission status if you choose to enable reminders.

We do not collect names, email addresses, precise location, or account identifiers.

How We Use Information

Deliver daily rounds and accept votes.
Measure gameplay usage to improve the App.
Diagnose crashes and improve stability.
Send optional local notifications if you enable them.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data only with:

Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) as described below.
Service providers required to operate our backend infrastructure.

Ads are not currently enabled. If we introduce ads in the future (AppLovin), this policy will be updated before ads go live.

Data Retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data are retained by Google according to their standard retention settings.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can request help by emailing hello@aidoo.biz.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard data.

International Transfers

Firebase data may be processed on servers outside your country. We rely on standard contractual safeguards where required.

Third-Party Services (Firebase)

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services collect usage data and crash diagnostics to help us improve the App. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
