Privacy Policy — Orbital Panic

Last updated: July 2026

Orbital Panic is a mobile arcade game by ai.doo (Aidoo Systems), built in Godot. This policy explains what data the game collects, why, and what control you have over it. Our website: https://www.aidoo.biz.

There are no user accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, or any other contact detail, and the game contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

Data stored on your device

Most of what the game remembers never leaves your device. It is written to a single save file in the app's private storage and is removed when you uninstall the game. That file holds:

Data sent to the leaderboard

Orbital Panic has a global leaderboard, hosted and operated by us at opsb.aidoo.biz. When you finish a run, the game submits:

Your device's IP address is visible to the leaderboard server when it receives a request, as it is for any internet connection. We use it only, and briefly, in memory to rate-limit abusive traffic. It is never written to the leaderboard database and never linked to your player ID or scores.

If the server is unreachable, scores are queued on your device and retried later. The game is fully playable offline; only the leaderboard requires a connection.

Sharing a score card

The game can render your score as an image and pass it to your device's own share sheet, so you can post it wherever you like. The image is created on your device and handed directly to the app you choose. It is not uploaded to us, and we do not see what you share or who you share it with.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar, health data, or payment information. The game has no advertising identifier, no ad networks, no analytics SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use the data

Leaderboard data is used only to run the leaderboard: to rank players, show the global board, show you your own rank, and keep your scores attached to a consistent pseudonymous ID across sessions. We also use the game-version field to understand which releases scores came from, and basic plausibility checks to reject forged submissions. We do not profile players and we make no automated decisions about you.

Storage, security and sharing

Leaderboard data is stored in a database on a server we rent and manage ourselves. It is not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party, and it is not used for advertising. Access is limited to us, transport is encrypted over HTTPS, and administrative actions are protected by a secret token.

Data retention

Leaderboard entries are kept for as long as the leaderboard service runs, so that historical rankings remain meaningful. We may reset the board from time to time, which deletes all stored scores and callsigns. You can request deletion sooner at any time — see below.

Your control and your rights

You can change or clear your callsign at any time from the leaderboard screen in-game. Uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your device, including your player ID.

To have your leaderboard entries deleted from our server, email us at hello@aidoo.biz with your callsign, and we will remove them. Because we hold no account or contact details, your callsign is the only way we can identify your entries — if you have already uninstalled the game and cannot recall it, we may not be able to locate them.

ai.doo (Aidoo Systems) is based in the Isle of Man and processes this data under the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018, which is equivalent to the UK and EU GDPR. Subject to that legislation you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to it. Our lawful basis for processing leaderboard data is legitimate interest: operating a competitive leaderboard that players choose to take part in.

Children's privacy

Orbital Panic is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information — most likely by typing it into a callsign — contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the game collects, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
